Use screws with a size of 4 x 40 and matching wall plugs for mounting the
bottom part of the enclosure to the wall. Some walls do not need the use of
wall plugs and in that case the enclosure can be screwed to the wall without
the need for drilling.
Guide the cable from the DFI filter to the RC-MSA and install it in accordance
with national regulations.

CONNECTIONS
The electrical connections have to be made with a 4 core cable. There is no
need for an electrical screened cable.
For cable lengths till 50 meters the diameter of the cores should be 4 x
0,5sqmm. and for larger distances bigger cores need to be used like 4 x
1,0sqmm.
ATTENTION
Remove the CEE power plug before connecting the
RC-MSA cable.
Internal connections
Make the connections according to the drawing below
External connections
Remove the lid at the top from the DFI filter using a Torx tool T15. Enter the
cable through one of the pre-assembled cable glands. Connect the cable to
the terminal strip according to the diagram.
REMARK

via the RS485 bus.

MAINTENANCE
The RC-MSA does not require special maintenance. The enclosure can be
cleaned with a mild detergent.

PROBLEM SOLVING
When the system is not working properly consult the following checklist to
see if you can solve the problem yourself. If this is not the case you need to
call help from educated, skilled and authorized technicians.
WARNING
Always check if the malfunction is from electrical or
mechanical origin. Activities or repairs to the electrical
system may only be performed by educated, skilled and
authorized service technicians.
Always switch OFF the DFI and remove power supply before starting the
repair. Read the repair regulations at the start of this manual.
REMARK
A nummer of problems listed in the table may also be caused
by connected devices in the system. In this manual the focus is
on the problems and solutions caused by Remote RC-MSA itself.
