Do not place the insect killer in the draft. Insects avoid drafts / air
flows. Placing the insect killer in the draft flow will therefore not be
effective.
Use
Remove all the packing materials and keep it away from children. Make sure that all
materials are removed. Hang the device from its suspension ring or stand it on a
safe, stable base. Never hang it from its electrical lead! Make sure that the device is
out of the reach of children. The device will start to operate as soon as you plug it
in. Plug it into a 220-240V wall socket. The electrical mains to which you connect
the device should have an earth-leakage switch. Before moving, cleaning or doing
any maintenance on the device, always first make sure that it is unplugged!
Cleaning
Regularly clean the device and the high-voltage
grid in particular. Not cleaning the grid regularly
can cause the device to malfunction. Never
touch the apparatus when in operation, despite
the harmless tension. Always unplug first!
Discharge static electricity prior to cleaning or
replacing bulb, by touching the grid with an
insulated screwdriver. Remove the dead insects
weekly. To do this, open the collection tray,
clean and return the tray. Dead insects can be
removed from the grate and the bulb with a
small brush. Prick the brush for that at several
places through the plastic housing.
Removal
In the EU this symbol indicates that this product may not be
disposed of as ordinary household waste. Old equipment contains
valuable materials, suitable for recycling. These materials should
be made suitable for reuse in order to prevent any adverse effects
to health and the environment caused by unregulated waste
collection. Therefore, please make sure that you bring old
equipment to a designated collection point. Alternatively, contact
the original supplier, who can make sure that as many of the
components as possible can be recycled.
