OPERATING THE UNIT
When you first plug the unit into the AC outlet , the unit will be in standby mode , You can press
the POWER button on the unit ( or on the remote control ) to switch the unit ON and OFF. Pull the AC
plug out of the wall socket if you want to switch off completely.
STANDBY
1. Press the STANDBY button on the unit (or remote) to switch the unit on.
2. Select the sound source ( CD , RADIO or TAPE ) by pressing corresponding function key.
The corresponding display will light up.
3. Adjust the volume with the VOLUME ( UP or DOWN ) button.
4. Set the X-BASS with the X-BASS button on the unit.
5. Press the STANDBY button to switch off the unit.
CLOCK SETTING
Function switch on STANDBY position
1. Press & hold MEMORY / C-ADJ. button until the time will display 12-hour or 24-hour digit flashing.
2. Press TUNING / SKIP / SEARCH (DOWN or UP) button to adjust 12-hour or 24-hour digit.
3. Press MEMORY / C-ADJ. button again , the time display HOUR digit flashing , press
TUNING / SKIP / SEARCH (DOWN or UP) button to adjust HOUR digit; Press MEMORY/
C-ADJ button once more, the MINUTE digit flashing, adjust it by the SKIP/SEARCH/
TUNING (UP or DOWN)button.
4. Press the MEMORY/C-ADJ button again to confirm the time.
TIMER SETTING
1. After adjusting clock, press and hold TIMER/SLEEP button for 3 seconds(or press the TIMER
button once on the remote), "TIMER " appears on the display and flashing.
2. In the 24-hours mode, it appears "0:00" ; and in the 12-hours mode , it appears " AM 12:00 ".
3. Press and hold MEMORY / C-ADJ button for 3 seconds, the hours will start flashing, adjust it by
pressing TUNING / SKIP / SEARCH (FORWARD or BACKWARD) button.
4. Press the MEMORY / C-ADJ button again, the minutes will start flashing, adjust it by pressing
TUNING / SKIP / SEARCH (FORWARD or BACKWARD) button.
5. Press the MEMORY/C-ADJ button once more to confirm TIMER time.
6. The system will be switched on automatically at " TIMER " order and start playing.
One hour later , the unit will be switched off automatically.
TO SET SLEEP FUNCTION
1. If you want to fall asleep to music, press TIMER / SLEEP button (on the unit) or the SLEEP
button (on the remote) .
2. You may adjust the Radio or CD player's sleep function to play from 90, 80, 70 up to 10 minutes
of music before shutting itself off automatically.
