• Only open the pressure tank when the appliance is off, has no pressure and it is cool. Unscrew the
cap of the pressure tank slightly and, before opening it completely make sure that all the steam has
gone out.
• For refilling the pressure tank only use regular tap water without additives, without perfumes and
without any chemical substances!
• Do not turn the appliance upside down and do not drop it in use!
• Do not direct the steam towards persons, animals or plants!
• Do not direct the steam towards equipment containing electrical components or electrical appliances
in general!
• Do not insert any objects into the various openings of the appliance and do not use the appliance in
case one of the openings is blocked!
• Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or bare feet.
• Do not operate the appliance in the presence of inflamable and / or explosive fiumes!
Recommended disposal procedures
• When the packaging and the appliance are no longer usable, they must be disposed of in accord-
ance with local waste disposal regulations.
• The packaging material must be disposed of in the appropriate containers which have been specially
designated, so that it can be adequately recycled.
• The discarded appliance must be taken to an appropriate collecting centre.

Fitting A Different Plug (UK Only)
This appliance is already fitted with a BS 1363
13 Amp. plug. The wires in the mains lead are
coloured as follows:
Green and yellow: Earth
Blue:
Neutral
Brown:
Live
Should you need to replace the plug, please
read the instructions and connect the wires as
detailed below.If in any doubt, consult a qualified
electrician.
The coloured markings identifying the terminals
in your replacement plug may not correspond
with the colours of the wires in the mains lead of
this appliance, so proceed as follows. The wire
that is coloured green and yellow must be con-
nected to the terminal marked with the letter E,
or the earth Symbol , or coloured green or
green and yellow. Always fit the same value of
fuse as that originally supplied with your appli-
ance.
Only use BS 1362 approved fuses.
As a guide only:
Appliances under 700 W can have a 3 Amp.
fuse (red) and all others should have a 13 Amp.
fuse (brown).
When disposing of an old plug (particularly the
moulded type that has been cut from the mains
cord) always remove the fuse as the plug could
be dangerous if ever inserted in a live socket.
