Enabling Power Options
Power Options
are enabled through the Control Panel in your
Win-
dows
system (
Power Options
)
. With other operating systems you
may have power management available, so check your documenta-
tion.
You may conserve power through individual components or
throughout the whole system.

BIOS Settings
You may use the
Pow-
er Savings
settings to
manage power in the
BIOS. This is especial-
ly useful for users who
are interested in run-
ning
DOS
or other non
"Plug-N-Play” OS’s
(
“Power Menu” on
page 5 - 17
).
Any settings made in
the
BIOS
will be over-
ridden by the Power
Options settings in the
OS
.
