MANUALLY PERFORMING THE DCF SIGNAL 
RECEPTION ATTEMPT

 

-

Press the WAVE button (5) during normal display mode. The product now att-
empts to receive the DCF signal.

 

-

Then, as described above, wait for a few minutes until the correct time is dis-
played.

MANUALLY SETTING THE TIME

If DCF reception is not possible, you can also set the time manually.

 

-

Press and hold the SET (3) button for approx. 2 seconds to switch to setting 
mode.

 

-

Change the displayed value using the UP (6) or DOWN (7) buttons. Keep the 
button pressed for fast adjustment.

 

-

Press the SET button to confirm the setting and toggle to the next parameter.

 

-

The settable parameters toggle in the following order:

 

-

Year > Month > Day > Language > Time display format (12/24 h) > Time zone > 
Hours > Minutes.

 

 The weekday can be displayed in the following languages:

 

GE = German

 

EN = English

 

FR = French

 

IT = Italian

 

ES = Spanish

 

NE = Dutch

 

DA = Danish

 

Information on time zone setting:

 

 If there is no radio signal reception, leave the setting at 00. If there is radio 
signal reception but your local time differs from the automatically set time, 
you can set the appropriate time difference (-12 to +12 hours). This time 
difference will be considered when displaying the clock time.

 

 The clock will return to display mode if no button is pushed in 30 seconds 
while in setting mode.

SETTING THE ALARM TIME

Press and hold the ALARM button (4) for 2 seconds.

 

-

Change the displayed value using the UP (6) or DOWN (7) buttons. Keep the 
button pressed for fast adjustment.

 

-

Press the ALARM button to confirm the setting and toggle to the next parameter.

 

-

The settable parameters toggle in the following order:

 

-

Hours (Alarm 1) > Minutes (Alarm 1) > Hours (Alarm 2) > Minutes (Alarm 2).

ACTIVATING THE ALARM / SNOOZE FUNCTION

 

-

Push the ALARM button (4). The display shows alarm time 1.

 

-

Press the UP button (6) to show or hide the bell icon. The alarm goes off at the 
set time when the bell icon remains lit on the display.

 

-

Press the ALARM button again. The display shows alarm time 2. Follow the above 
steps to activate/deactivate Alarm 2.

 

-

When the alarm sounds, you can turn off the alarm using one of the following 
methods:

 

-

Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (2) to activate the snooze function. The alarm 
will sound again after 5 minutes. The snooze function can be repeated as many 
times as you want.

 

-

Push any button to turn off the signal.

 

-

The alarm turns off automatically after 2 minutes.

BACKLIGHT

Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT (2) button to activate the backlight for approx. 5 seconds.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME

The time will be adjusted automatically during summer. During daylight saving time, 
the sun icon appears at the top left of the display.

THERMOMETER

Press the DOWN button (7) in order to switch between the temperature units ºC 
and ºF.

LOCATION FOR USE

Select a level, flat and stable location for use.
Protect valuable furniture surfaces by using an appropriate underlay; otherwise, it 
may cause scratches.
Set up the radio-controlled alarm clock to prevent it from falling.
To ensure correct DCF reception, the radio-controlled alarm clock should not be 
placed next to electronic devices, cables, metal parts, etc. 

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled 
for any reason.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.
Do not use any chemical cleaning agents, as they can discolour the plastic casing.

DISPOSAL

a) Product

   Electronic devices are recyclable material and must not be disposed of in 

the household waste!

 

 Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the 
current statutory requirements.

 

 Remove any inserted batteries and dispose of them separately from the 
product.

b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries

As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return used batter-
ies and rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household 
waste!

   Batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with the symbol shown to indi-

cate that disposal with household waste is forbidden. The symbols of the 
relevant heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (marking 
can be seen on the battery/rechargeable battery, e.g. underneath the refuse 
bin symbol shown on the left).

  

You can return used (rechargeable) batteries free of charge at the official col-
lection points in your municipality, our stores, or where ever (rechargeable) 
batteries are sold!

That way you are fulfilling your statutory obligations and you are contributing to the 
protection of the environment!.
