"--.-" is displayed for the apparent
temperature.
The apparent temperature is not displayed
when the actual temperature is more than
10 °C. "- -.-" will be displayed.
The rotor flutters.
The rotor may flutter when it slows down
and stops. This is entirely normal. The
anemometer features a small built-in
magnet that responds to the Earth's
magnetic field. If the rotor flutters, this will
not affect the accuracy of the wind speed
measurements. Flutter is only noticeable
when the rotor slows down or accelerates.
The flow divider vibrates at a high speed.
The flow divider will vibrate at high speeds.
This is entirely normal. Do not use the
anemometer when the wind speed exceeds
30 m/s. "---" will be shown on the LCD
display (3).
The LCD display is too dim or not visible.
The LCD display does not work in
temperatures lower than -10 °C. If the
ambient temperature is very cold, warm the
LCD display up by holding it in your hands
or against your body.
The battery may be empty. If so, replace
the battery.
