• Cooking hobs can be installed into worktops that are 30 to 50mm thick.
• The kitchen furniture element underneath the hob should not be fi tted with a drawer. If the
kitchen furniture element as a horizontal partition wall, it should be installed no less than 60
millimeters from the lower surface of the worktop. The space between the partition wall and
the hob must be empty; no objects should be placed into that gap.
• On the furniture back wall there should be a cutout with width of at least 175 mm along the
entire width of the furniture element.
8.2 Fastening the cooktop to the bench
1. Turn the cooktop upside down and place it on a soft surface.
2. Spread the seal around the edges of the ceramic glass with the adhesive side facing down,
making sure that the whole perimeter is sealed. Cut off any excess material.
