6.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
•
After connecting to the power supply, pull the tab

at the base of the coffee bean
container

to close it

Remove the lid

from the container

and fill it with coffee beans.
•
Move the switch

to the "I" position or press the button (according to version).
•
Push the tab

to allow the coffee beans to pass through.

The switch or button

serves to start the motor. For fully automatic versions, the switch
needs to be turned once more to start the motor
(see detail C, Fig. 1)

Wait for the doser group to become half full and then place the filter holder on the fork

and use the doser lever
(6) (see Fig. 7)
. Each pull of the lever is a single dose of ground
coffee. The number of doses dispensed can be seen on the counter

Switch off the switch

to stop the grinding operation.
WARNING
In the interests of preventing damage and accidents, never place fingers or other
items into the spout below the doser while the ground coffee is being dispensed.
6.1
GRINDING AND DOSE ADJUSTMENT
To adjust grinding fineness, use the adjustment knob

. This needs to be turned clockwise
to increase grinding fineness or anticlockwise to increase the grain size, as shown on the
knob itself
(see Fig. 5)

To adjust the amount in each dose, use the dial

under the lid of the doser group

turning it anticlockwise to increase the dose and clockwise to reduce it
(see Fig. 6)
.
6.2
GROUND COFFEE LEVER ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the level of ground coffee in the doser, use the flag

under the lid of the doser

Use the two slots in the bottom part of the flag to adjust the level of the coffee in the doser.
With the flag moved downwards, it is possible to work with a low level of ground coffee,
while if it is moved upwards, it is possible to work with a high level of ground coffee inside
the doser.
We advise against operating fully automatic grinders and dosers when the coffee level flag

is too low, since this could influence the regularity of the doses.
7.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Always unplug the appliance from the mains power supply before carrying out any
cleaning or maintenance operations.
WARNING
Never pull on the power cord or the appliance when removing the plug from the
mains power socket.
