6. Raise the tent
See fi g.7.
• Insert base plates into the uprights. Pin in place.
• Position one canopy jack at each bracket location
along one side of the tent.
• Raise the side of the tent evenly and install
uprights.
• With uprights in place, perimeter buckles can be
attached. Do not tighten at this point. Remove the
jacks. Position them on the opposite side of the
tent. Raise the other side of the tent and install all
the remaining uprights.
• Remove the jacks.
7. Tighten tent top
See fi g.8.
• Fasten buckles from tent top around the perimeter
tubing of the frame.
• Pull down on the valance with one hand and
tighten the web strap with the other hand.
• Pull down on the web straps at the tension
channel locations [ all corner and intermediate
brackets ].
8. Install corner braces
See fi g.9.
Note: Braces are standard on 30' and 40' frames;
optional on 20' and smaller frames
9. Secure and stake the tent
• Attach guy ropes to each corner and intermediate
bracket. See fi g.10.
Use: 2 ropes in each corner.
1 rope at each intermediate leg
• Stake the ropes out approximately 5'-6' from tent.
• Soft soil conditions may require additional stakes
and ropes.
See appendix B.
Attach the web of the canopy jack around
the arm of the bracket. Raise the tent.
Secure buckles around perimeter.
Simultaneously pull down on valance
and tighten web.
