Pell the protective fi lm off the adhesive surfaces of the LED strips (Figure 4). Press the LED light
strips fi rmly onto the selected clean places.
Install the cable below the fl oor covering/carpet and behind panels/central console etc. (Figures
5 and 6). Insert the hollow plug connector (position 7 in the overview) of the vehicle connecting
cable into the socket of the IR-controller (Figure 7). Position the IR-controller so that you can
easily reach the 12 V power socket with the vehicle connecting cable. The opening on the upper
side of the housing may not be covered or closed (microphone opening for music programs).
Insert the vehicle plug connector (position 5 in the overview) of the vehicle connecting cable
into the 12 V power socket of your vehicle. Switch the socket on using the switch (number 6 in
the overview). Use the remote control to switch the interior lights on (‘point’ the remote control
toward the IR-receiver for optimum function).

At the end of the journey, switch the interior lights off with the remote control and also switch
off the power supply at the vehicle power socket using the switch.
If you do not use your vehicle for a longer period, remove the plug connector from the 12 V
power socket.

The LED interior light is maintenance-free when used as intended. If you do not use the LED
interior lights for a long period of time, remove the batteries from the battery compartment
Only clean the LED interior lights with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents
or solvent-based cleaners. Never allow liquids to ingress into the device.
Place the battery into the remote control, type CR 2025:
Unlock the battery holder (Figure 9). Pull the battery holder out of the housing (Figure 10).
Remove the used battery. Insert the new battery into the battery holder. Ensure that the battery
is inserted the right way round (Figure 11). Push the battery holder with the new battery into the
housing. Lock the battery holder again.

Do not dispose of electrical devices with the household waste! Electrical and
electronic scrap must be collected separately and disposed of in an environ-
mentally responsible manner for recycling. Please contact your community
or city administration regarding disposal options for electrical and electronic
scrap.
At the end of their lifetime, used batteries and battery packs may not be dis-
posed of in household waste - or negligently in the environment. Hand in used
device batteries/battery packs to the collection points at the store (dealer).
This makes a considerable contribution towards protecting our environment.
Some communities may also collect used batteries/battery packs via mobile
stations or recycling centres.
Attach the IR-receiver (position 3 in the overview) so that it has a ‘clear view’ of the interior of
the vehicle.
