APPENDIX B - Communications via the USB ports.
The system will generally be able to assign the two USB ports required:
COM3 – USB connection to the ETS4431 Discharge Unit
USB0 – USB connection to the Tek 2022C oscilloscope
If the USB plugs are moved or other USB devices are plugged in, windows may exhibit confusion about
the USB ports and you may need to help. Also “COM3” may be “COM4” or other numbers.
If you see any error messages mentioning “USB”, stop the program, restart the program, then click on
the unmarked button in the upper right corner of the screen.
This activates tabs which you will see along the top of the screen.
Click on the ADMIN tab. You will see two “Path” fields.
Each resource field has a pull-down menu. Follow this update procedure:
