4. Make sure the distance between two cross bars is at least 24”/610mm apart. With another person’s help, load the

kayak onto car rooftop and center the kayak on the two folding cradles(A).Make sure the cockpit is facing

toward you.See Fig. 5

2.Once the outer frame is in appropriate position, turn the locking handles clockwise to lock the outer frame in position.

Note: Make sure to leave enough space between the outer frame and the base fame for your kayak.

3.Repeat step1 and 2 for the other folding cradle. Make sure the two folding cradles are in alignment.

5. Route the free end of strap(G) around the top of the outer frame of folding cradle(A).Pull and route both the buckle end

and free end of strap (G) over the kayak. Pull down the free end of strap(G) until the buckle end is positioned half way up

the side of the kayak. Thread the free end of strap(G) down and under the cross bar. See Fig. 6

6. Press buckle on strap (G) and insert free end of strap (G) through the buckle. Pull down the free end of strap (G) to tighten.

Wrap the free end through the elastic cord to avoid the excessive strap flapping in the wind. See Fig. 7

When the strap is tightened, move neoprene protector to cover the buckle to prevent paintwork scratches.

Repeat step 5 and step 6 for the other folding cradle.
