Remove the gasket and dowel pins. 
Clean off any gasket material from L crank case surface. 

 

 

CVT REMOVAL 

Loosen the flange nut and remove kick-starter ratchet. 
Remove the drive face. 

Loosen the flange nut. 
Remove the drive pulley assy. and driven belt. 

Remove the drive face boss and movable driven face 
assembly.
