Cooking timer
When the hob is switched on, you can set a separate timer for each
cooking zone that is switched on.
1. Select a cooking zone that is switched on.
2. Press the – and + buttons simultaneously.
The time setting ‘0 0’ of the activated cooking zone is displayed in
the top two displays. At the cooking zone itself, a flashing decimal
point indicates that the timer can be set for that cooking zone.
3. Press the - or + button to set the desired time.
▷
When you first press the - button, the time will immediately be
set to 30 minutes.
▷
If you keep the - or + button pressed, the time will run higher or
lower at an increasingly faster rate.
The time setting is visible for a few seconds; then all set power
levels are displayed, and at the cooking zone for which a timer has
been set, a decimal point is displayed.
4. After the set time has elapsed, ‘0 0’ will flash in the display, as
well as the timer’s decimal point. The cooking zone switches off.
Furthermore, you will hear a repeated short beep. Press any key
to switch off the audible signal. If you don’t do this, the signal will
switch off automatically after 2 minutes.
Note!
If no cooking zone has been activated and you press the - and
+ buttons simultaneously, the time setting of the timer is displayed
(no decimal points will flash at a cooking zone)! By again pressing
the - and + buttons simultaneously (multiple times), the time setting
of a cooking zone that is switched on is displayed (the decimal point
flashes at the relevant cooking zone).
Tip
Check the remaining time by pressing the - and + buttons
simultaneously (multiple times). The time that appears in the display is
either from the cooking zone that is switched on (with flashing decimal
point) or from the timer (no decimal point flashes). Adjust the cooking
time as needed using the – or + button.
