separating the lens cover from
the fixture plate
□
Remove the two screws at the top of the wall pack
that attach the lens cover to the fixture plate (A).
□
Remove the lens cover (B) from the fixture plate (A)
by rotating the lens cover (B) down and sliding it to
the right to remove it from the pegs.

Marking the location of the fixture
□
Place the fixture plate (A) in the desired location.
□
Use a pencil to mark the locations of the mounting holes,
which are approximately 6 11/16 inches apart horizontally
and 6 5/16 inches apart vertically.
□
set the fixture plate (A) aside until ready to attach to the
mounting surface in a later installation step.
□
Drill a 1/4-in. pilot hole into each of the screw locations
marked on the mounting surface. You can also use an awl or
nail to dimple the screw holes.
□
If mounting the fixture plate (A) to drywall, install a drywall
anchor (BB) in each drilled mounting hole.
NoTE
: the drywall anchors (BB) are only to be used for
mounting the fixture to plaster or drywall surfaces.
NoTE
: Mounting screws are suitable for wood and concrete mounting also.

Preparing the fixture plate for mounting
□
Use a power drill to drill through the mounting holes on the
fixture plate (A).
□
Align the fixture plate (A) mounting template with the electrical
box to determine which knock outs to remove for mounting.
□
Drill out the
required knock
outs with a
power drill.
Installation
WARNING
:
RIsK OF eleCtRIC sHOCK. ensure the electricity to the wires you are working on is shut off. either remove the fuse or turn off the
circuit breaker before removing the existing light fixture or installing the new one.
With power disconnected to the electrical box, remove the existing fixture. Make a sketch of how the current fixture is wired (by wire color)
or mark the wires with masking tape and a pencil so you will know how to properly reconnect the wires to the new leD light fixture.

Feeding wires through the knock
out holes
□
Place the gasket (ee) on the back of the fixture plate (A).
□
Feed the wires from the electrical box through the
desired knock out hole.
CAUTIoN
: If using a top, bottom, or side knock out
hole, use a 1/2 in. watertight connector and conduit (not
included).

Mounting the fixture
□
Align the holes drilled in the mounting template on the
fixture plate (A) with the mounting holes on the electrical
box.
□
Align the 4 mounting holes on the fixture plate (A) with the
4 pilot holes drilled in the mounting surface.
□
Insert the 4 electrical box screws (AA) and tighten to
secure the fixture plate (A) to the electrical box.
□
Insert the 4 mounting screws (CC) and tighten to secure
the fixture plate (A) to the wall.

Making the electrical connections
□
slide the holes in the bottom of the lens cover (B) over the pegs at the
bottom of the fixture plate (A).
□
Connect the hot and neutral (black and white) wires from the electrical box
to the same color wires from the fixture plate (A).
□
Connect the green ground wire from the electrical box to the green ground
wire from the fixture plate (A).
□
Cover the wire connections using the wire connectors (DD).
□
Wrap the wire connectors (DD) with electrical tape for a more secure
connection.
□
Connect the green ground wire from the fixture plate (A) with the quick
connector attached to the green ground wire from the lens cover (B) with
the quick connector attached.
□
Connect the red and blue wires from the fixture plate (A) with the quick
connector attached to the red and blue wires from the lens cover (B) with the
quick connector attached.
