Common Rules
Repairing jaguar should be limited to changing assemblies. Faulty assemblies should be returned to
transtechnik
for repair.
Changing assemblies is simple. Keep in mind following rules, to preserve full operation and reliability of your
console.
•
Do not apply any violence
Remove assemblies or parts with care, replace them with caution.
Do not trap cables. On demand use tools to unplug connectors, for example a screw driver. Avoid
tensile loadings.

Obviously damaged parts should always be exchanged.
•
For handling printed circuit boards, refer to instructions on page 3
•
Use screw drivers of appropriate size only.
•
Unplug connectors only if you are sure that on assembly you will not confuse any cables or
connectors.
•
Be careful on cables, use cable ties.
•
Take care that no parts fall accidentally into the console. Missing parts can produce short circuits
or other subtle malfunctions.
•
Do not forget or omit washers or retaining rings.
•
Fasten screws and nuts with care.
•
Lock screw joints using screw lacquer.
•
After installation of assemblies check connectors and cabling.
