Assembling saw blade

Before assembling the saw blade check that the mains plug has been removed
from the socket.
replacing/inserting the saw blade:
•
Pull the lever (7) upwards
•
Insert the saw blade (teeth in cutting direction) into the stroke rod until it latches.
While inserting the saw blade, pay attention that the back of the saw blade is
positioned in the groove of the guide roller.
•
Release the lever; the saw blade (10) is locked.
Ejecting the saw blade:
•
To eject the saw blade pull the lever upwards and at the same time remove the saw
blade out of the machine.
Adjusting the bottom plate

Adjust the angle of the bottom plate (6) as follows:
A. Loosen the socket head screws (12) with the Allen key supplied.
B. Pull the bottom plate back slightly to unlock it.
C. Turn the bottom plate to the right or left in the desired sawing angle.
You can read this on the protractor (13). The maximum sawing angle is 45º.
D. Push the bottom plate forward again to interlock it.
E. Tighten the socket head screws (12) again.

Press the switch in to put the jigsaw into operation. The switch can be interlocked with
the interlocking knob. This is done as follows:
•
Press the switch in.
•
Keep the switch pressed in and press the interlocking knob in. The jigsaw will now
continue to run.
•
Release both switches.
Release the interlocking by pressing the switch in again.

The speed of the saw can be controlled with the rotary knob at the top of the jigsaw. The
higher the position, the higher the speed. The highest position is 6. The ideal sawing
speed will depend on the profile and the tooth of the saw and on the material you want
to saw. For soft materials, select a reasonably high speed and a coarse tooth. If you
want to saw hard materials, select a lower speed and a fine tooth.
