Connecting the ES650.1 with another module
6. Turn the fasteners of the T-connector by one-quarter turn. This
locks the connection of the two modules.
7. Click the two additional T-connectors into the installation
openings on the opposite longitudinal side of the device and
also lock those connectors.
8. If you want to stack additional modules and fasten them on
top of each other, repeat the process with the next module.
4.2
Cabling
This section describes how to connect the sensors, transducers and the host
PC to your ES650.1 A/D and Thermo Module. For information on how to con
-
nect several ES6xx series devices to a host PC, see the ES600 User Manual.
The connections of the ES650.1 may be cabled in any order.
NOTE
The ports of the ES650.1 and of the sensors may carry dangerous voltages
even when the unit is powered off. Be sure to check that the ports are dead,
before starting the cabling.
NOTE
All cables used for the ES650.1 are rated for a maximum operational voltage
of 60 V DC / 30 V AC.
Make sure that the maximum operating voltage of the cables and the maxi

mum input and common-mode voltages are not exceeded under any circum
-
stances.
