Permitted lifting slings/slingbars
Congratulations on your purchase of a lift from Etac.
In order to avoid injury during handling and use, please
read through the lift and sling manual.
In this manual, the user is the person being lifted.
The assistant is the person operating the lift.
This symbol appears in the manual along
with text. It indicates instances where the
safety of the lift motor, the user or the
assistant may be at risk.
The lift has been tested by a testing institute and
complies with the requirements stated in ISO
055:006, EN 6060-, EN 6060--.
NB! With the installation of medical devices
equipment, special care must be taken with
regard to electromagnetic radiation (EMC).
Even radio frequency equipment, such as
walkie-talkies and mobile phones, can affect
medicotechnical equipment.
If in doubt, contact Etac or staff responsible
for the equipment.
Etac is continually making improvements to its

– Etac has a separate range of slingbars and lifting
slings specially designed for Etac’s lift motor.
– Etac does not accept responsibility for faults or
accidents that occur as a result of using a slingbar/
lifting sling made by a manufacturer other than
Etac.

See specified maximum load for each
unit. The part, whether it be the lifting
sling or some other component, with the
lowest loading capacity will determine the
maximum loading for the whole system.
