Then close the lid
E
and the frying may begin. We recommend stirring the ingredients
occasionally to prevent their sticking together. Switch the
C4
switch to position „
0
“ after
the food preparation is finished. Fold out the basket holder
D1
to a horizontal position, the
basket will thus be lifted above the oil level into a side position. Let the ingredients drip off
of the excess oil.
Warning
During the heating phase, thermostat may cycle (switching on the green control light). Do
not consider this as faulty operation.
Preparing fried food
–
Wet food intended for frying has to be dried (e. g. in a cloth). Always spice food after
frying, do not spice food above the frying container or during frying.
–
Some food (meat, fish) can be breaded. Food should be breaded evenly and excessive
breadcrumbs should be removed thoroughly.
–
Food like doughnuts can be fried floating in the oil without the basket.
–
Cut food like chicken in half. Thus you will prevent later scalding when taking the food
out of the basket.
–
In frying food like French fries, select higher temperatures. On the contrary, while frying
heavier food, e. g. chicken legs or burghers, choose lower temperatures so that the food
is prepared evenly.
–
The best way to prepare French fries is to fry them in two phases. Let French fries cool
down before the second frying.
–
Do not put too much food in one batch, it could get stuck together.
–
Remove excessive ice from frozen food.
–
If you fry food several times, wait between frying until the required temperature is
reached and the control light is off.
–
In frying more types of food, start with the food requiring lower temperature.
–
When frying pre-fried food, use higher temperature and shorter time than for raw food.
–
Do not fill the basket more than to one half, otherwise the oil temperature will drop and
the result of frying will not be optimal.
ATTENTION:
In frying food containing large amount of water or frozen food, immerse the
basket in the oil slowly; you will prevent the frying oil from foaming over.
After each frying
–
We recommend filtering or straining lukewarm frying oil, pouring it in a suitable
container, closing the container and putting it in a fridge – thus you will prevent creation
of undesirable substances.
–
Empty the condensate container
C
. Pull out the container from the deep fryer casing
and empty it (fig. 7). Put the condensate container back to the deep fryer casing in the
opposite way (for
ETA 3172
).
ATTENTION: Hot frying oil melts down a plastic bottle and there is a risk of injury!
