PRELIMINARY PHASES FOR USE
Starting the appliance
Check that the voltage of the domestic network is the same as that indicated on the
technical information plate of the appliance. Place the appliance on a flat surface. Before
using the appliance for the first time wash the tank. Fill it up with fresh cool water and insert
it in its housing (Fig. 3). Insert the plug into the socket, which must be earthed.
Any dripping of water from the small pipe located inside the tank is not to be
considered a machine defect, but rather a sign that the self-priming valve is
operating normally.
Starting the first time
After having filled the tank with cool tap water, start the machine by pressing the button (S).
Indicator lamps (P) and (R) turn on to indicate that the machine is on and that the internal
boiler has started to heat up, respectively. Press the coffee dispensing switch (T) until you
see water come out of the filter holder seat (Fig. 4).
If you are starting the machine for the first time or after a period of time during
which it has not been used, it is recommended that at least one cup of water be
allowed to pass through the boiler’s hydraulic circuit. also open the cock (g) by
slightly turning it anti-clockwise after having placed a container underneath the
MAXI CAPPUCCINO device wand (M).
Then close the cock (G) by turning it clockwise, and press the coffee dispensing switch (T)
to make the water stop coming out. THE MACHINE WILL BE READY TO MAKE COFFEE
WHEN THE INDICATOR LAMP (R) TURNS OFF.
HOW TO MAKE COFFEE
Put the Thermocream® Disc (E), the perforated silicone disc (D) and the Thermoc-ream®
Filter (C) into the filter holder in the order indicated (Fig. 5). Measure out the coffee in the
