Connect the power cable
D
from the rear part of the coffee machine and then to the socket.

Refilling coffee beans
When refilling coffee beans, proceed as shown in Fig. 4. Make sure that the tank cover is
always locked into place. Proper position of the cover protects, besides other things, the
coffee beans from losing their aroma. However, only fill the tank with such a quantity of
beans which is necessary approximately for one day.
5)
Setting the grind size
Caution
When setting the grind size, make sure that the grinder is in operation (i.e. grinding) - never
adjust the grind size while the grinder is idle!
You can adjust the grind size with the grind size knob
A7
. Turn the knob to the required
grind size (smaller ring = finer grind; larger ring = coarser grind).
If you want your coffee to run down faster, e.g. because its taste is too strong for you, set
the coarser level of grinding. On the contrary, if you want the coffee to run down more
slowly (so as to obtain richer aroma and a stronger taste), set a finer level. However, if you
set a fine grind size, your coffee might run down very slowly. The new settings will only
become evident when you are making a third cup after the change.
6)
rinsing the coffee maker
Before using the machine for the first time or if it has not been used for more than 2 days,
rinse the machine by pressing the power on/off button
A1
and button
B4
simultaneously
and holding them both for a while. After releasing the buttons, the rinsing will start. You
can cancel the rinsing process by pressing of the power on/off button
A1
or
B4
button
.
Rinse the steam nozzle
A3
by pressing the hot water button
B4
.
Note
–
When flushing out the coffee machine, collect the water into the drip tray
H
or into a suitable cup. Empty the drip tray regularly.
Automatic rinsing of the coffee maker
In all modes, the machine has a pre-programmed automatic rinsing (approx. 25 ml) after
being turned on, helping maintain the appliance in good condition. When the machine
is turned on, the button
B4
will start to flash and water starts to run out. The function
may be interrupted by pressing the button
B4
. However, this function does not replace a
thorough rinsing by means of the above-mentioned procedure, which is advisable to use
time to time, so the water supply system is thoroughly rinsed.
