4. PREPARATION FOR USE
Remove all packing material, remove vacuum cleaner and accessories.
Remove any adhesive, stickers, or paper from the vacuum cleaner.
4.1 VACUUM CLEANER PREPARATION

2 The following main brush types can be used:

a combination of lamellae and bristles, suitable for carpets and hard
floors, including moping

extra fine brush for hard and delicate floors, suitable for fine dust, pet
and human hair
When fitting and removing the parts, proceed as shown on Fig. 2, 3 and 4
.
Use standard fixing
elements and buttons for fitting, consequently, the fitting and removing procedure is intuitive.

Use installed dirt container

for conventional vacuum cleaning (without mopping).
Don´t use container

(not even without mopping adapter

) if you only want to
perform vacuum cleaning.
4.2 CHARGER STATION INSTALLATION
1) First remove charging dock cover (see fig. 5), then fit charging adapter connector

. Part of the cable can be coiled in the cable space in the charging dock to avoid
its protruding out to minimise the risk (e.g. cable being caught, stumbling etc.). Lead the
cable in the outlet hole

and then out of the device. Close charging dock cover.
2) Place the charging dock on the floor, near the wall. Be sure there is sufficient space at the
sides of the base (minimum 0.5 m) as well as before the base (minimum 1.5 m).
Do not
change location of the charging dock! This could prevent the device from returning
back to the dock!
3) Connect the adapter to the mains supply (signal lamp
E1
lights on – charging dock is
active; this lamp will be on as long as the charging dock is active).
4) Put the device approx. 0.5 m in front of the dock, switch on the vacuum cleaner and
press Back to Charging Dock button. The device will automatically move and park in the
charging dock.

Remarks
–
If the battery has been discharged, place the device into the charging dock manually.
–
After connection to the charging dock, the device will be switched on automatically.
–
During charging and connection to the charging dock, the device cannot be switched off.
– The cleaning operation must always be started with the robot vacuum cleaner in
the charging dock.
