III. PREPARATION FOR USE
Unpack the scale from packaging. Before the very first use, wash that part of the appliance
(plate A3) that may come in contact with foods.
Installation of batteries (fig. 3)
Battery: 2 x 1,5 V (included)
Replacing Batteries
Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom part of the scale and insert
2 x AAA batteries; pay attention to correct polarity and close the cover.
V. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Weighing (fig. 4)
1. Put the scale on suitable flat surface (see
I. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
).
Do not put
things you want to weight on the plate before you turn the appliance on!
2. Press the button
to turn on the scale (the display will show all symbols for about 2
seconds).
3. When the display shows
0 g
, the appliance is ready for weighing.
4. Put the food (thing) you want to weigh in the centre of the plate
A3
and wait for settling
the value shown on the display.
5. After weighing, you may turn off the scale by pressing the
button or the scale will
turn off automatically after 60 seconds.
Note:

The total weight of the container and the object must not exceed 5 kg!
Change to weight units

The scale may indicate weight in the following units: g gram, lb oz – pound/ounce.
Repeatedly press the
UNIT
button to change the units as follows: g / lb oz.
