Plug power supply
A10
fork to the electric power. Remove the coffee beans container lid
A1
(fig. 2). Spill some coffee beans in the coffee beans container
A5
(fig. 3) and close the
lid pushing it firmly. Set the desired grain size by rotating the control knob
A2
placed on
the body of the grinder (fig. 4). It is advisable to grind the first few packs (about 500 g) of
coffee at setting 8. The lower the setting the finer the grain size (1 to 17). Set the dial
A3
to
the quantity of coffee corresponding to the number of cups for which you want to grind the
beans: the relative number appears (cups 2
–
14), (fig. 5).
The grinder is switched ON and OFF by the ON/OFF button
A4
. Once the previously
selected amount of coffee is reached, the appliance will stop automatically. If you want to
stop the appliance before grinding is finished, press the button
A4
again.
Remove the pre-ground coffee container
A9
, gently tap the container, remove the lid
A8
(fig. 6)
and pour the pre-ground coffee into the filter of the coffee machine. To install the
filler in the grinder follow the above procedure in the reverse order.
Recommendation
–
The lower the degree you set, the finer the coffee is ground.
–
For roasted light / dry beans, set the regulator into the FINE grinding position.
For roasted dark / fatty beans, set the regulator into the COARSE grinding position.
–
Recommended grinding coarseness settings:
Espresso 1 – 3, Filtered coffee 2 – 13, French Press 12 – 17. As a rough guide, use
a tablespoon of beans per cup (e.g. 4 tablespoons of beans for 4 cups of coffee).
–
If you hear a change of the characteristic noise during grinding, i.e. high noise, the
coffee beans are clinging to the grinding chamber wall. Turn off the coffee-grinder and
subsequently lightly “shake” it to loosen the beans.
IV
. MAINTENANCE (fig. 7, 8, 9)

A2
to number 1. Grab
and turn the grinding stone
A7
clockwise up to the stopper and subsequently remove it.
Clean the grinding stone from coffee using brush
B
. Insert the grinding stone in the reverse
manner back into the hopper, then turn it counter-clockwise until number 9 appears on the
grinding coarseness regulator
A2
.
