Orientation light
The orientation light value is 10% to 50% of the full luminous
efficiency. The Mobil-PDi/DALI ADR remote control can be used to
switch this function either on or off and adjust the switch-off delay
time of the orientation light.
LED display
Test:
red LED
turns on for 2 seconds and off for 2 seconds; this is
repeated as long as test mode is active.
The detector receives a signal from the remote control:
red LED
flashes quickly for 2 seconds.
8 • SETTINGS AND FUNCTIONS VIA REMOTE CONTROL (FIG. 5)
NOTE: To get the best possible reception, point the remote control at the
detector during programming. Please note that if the sun shines directly
onto the sensor, the standard detection range of approximately 8 m may
be reduced by the sun's infrared rays.
Temporary functions
The temporary functions can only be used if programming mode is
active.
The functions are carried out as soon as the button has been
pressed, but they are not stored.
Programming
The following functions can only be programmed when
the device is in programming mode. All changes are stored
and the functions are implemented after exiting programming
mode.
Button
Customised setting
End the “test” function/
manual light ON/OFF/switch-off delay time
Return to preset mode
The channel remains permanently switched on during test mode
Regardless of the ambient brightness, if motion is
detected, the LED will switch on for 2 seconds and
a Dali signal will be emitted simultaneously. Press
the
“Reset”
button to exit.
Enter programming mode
The light channel
switches on. The detector's
movement sensor is disabled whilst the device is in
programming mode.
Exit programming mode
The settings are now stored. The detector will now
operate automatically according to the preset values.
NOTE: If programming mode is not exited by
pressing the button, the detector automatically
exits programming mode 2 minutes after the
last button was pressed. All functions set up
until this point will be stored.
