INTRODUCTION
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the
instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If
you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read all the instructions.

Read all instructions carefully and thoroughly before any operation of the kettle.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
4. Before connecting the kettle,check whether the voltage indicated corresponds with the mains vol-
tage in your home.If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.
5. Switch off and unplug from the outlet before filling,emptying or cleaning,or when not in use.

Do not overfill and make sure water is below the maximum level, as boiling water may be ejected.
Fill with cold water only.
7. To avoid fire,do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.Do not operate
or place any part of this appliance on or near gas and electric burner or in a heated oven.
8. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or a counter.Do not let the cord touch hot surface.

Never yank on the cord as this may damage the cord and eventually cause a risk of electric shock.
10. If the cord or plug is damaged,or aſter the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in
any way,return the appliance completely to your nearest authorized service agent for examinati-
on,repair or adjustment.
11. Avoid touching the surface of the hot kettle,use the handle and knobs.

To avoid possible steam damage,do not face the spout when operating the kettle.
13. If operated on wooden furniture,use a protective pad to prevent from damage to delicate finishes.

To avoid scalding,always ensure the lid is correctly positioned before operation.
15. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed while heating.
16. Remove and replace the lid carefully when hot.
17. Extreme caution must be used when moving the kettle with hot water.Never liſt the kettle
by its lid.Always use the body handle.

Do not switch on your kettle if it is empty.
19. To protect from electrical hazard,do not immerse this kettle,power base or cord set in any liquid.
20. Use the kettle only with the supplied base.Do not use the base for other purposes.
21. While the water boiling or in the short time aſter the water boils, please be sure that don’t
attempt to open the cover for avoid the steam scalding your hand.

Please avoid the liquid sprinkling to the LCD board and the pressed key during the operating pro-
cess. Because the water may plunge in the product and cause malfunctions.
23. Please do not overfill and make sure water stays below the maximum level. As this has the pos-
sibility to damage the product.
24. Please clean and remove the scale or residue from the bottom of the pot regularly, as it may af-
fect the normal use of the product.
