Restrictions concerning use of aqueous products
Do not use any aqueous products containing acids (i.e. pH below 7) in
which fluoride (F
-
), chloride (Cl
-
) or bromide (Br
-
) ions are placed in
contact with either impurities from objects or the cleaning product, as this
would lead to a rapid deterioration of the tank and cause it to corrode.
Other detergents are available that, depending on their degree of
concentration or temperature, could seriously damage the stainless
steel composition of the tank: nitric acid, sulfuric acid, formic acid and
fluorhydric acid (even in a diluted state).
Additional risks of damage to the device: Cleaning solutions
containing alkali (KOH and/or NaOH) greater than 0.5 % in weight
terms must not be used in the ultrasonic tank.
These use restrictions on the ultrasonic tank are also applicable
whenever such chemical combinations (as cited above) are found as
residues in aqueous detergents (particularly in distilled water).
If you are working with the kinds of solutions listed above, it is
essential to use a tub specifically designed for this purpose (available
as an accessory).
Moreover, these restrictions pertain to all commercially-sold cleaning
and disinfectant products that contain the aforementioned chemical
combinations.
Be sure to take account of all interdictions and safety precautions
issued by the manufacturer regarding chemical products (e.g. wearing
of protective glasses, gloves, R and S indications).
In case of doubt, contact your distributor.

Reminder!
Disconnect the device and remove the electrical
mains plug from the socket before each maintenance task!
MNU 180 devices do not require any maintenance.
It is still advised to regularly verify, for purposes of electrical safety,
that both the case and network cable are free of damage.
Cautiously remove all traces of lime accumulation, by using a water +
concentrate solution.
