use
First use
Your appliance may give off a mild odour when switched on for the first time. This is normal;
adequate ventilation must therefore be provided. This odour will only be temporary and will
dissipate quickly.
Power levels
Power levels are identified by the “I” and “II” symbols.
•
For a power of 800W, set the selector switch to “I”.
•
For a power of 2000W, set the selector switch to “II”.
•
To stop the heater, set the selector switch to “0”.
Use
•
The thermostat control and power selection switches must be in position “0”.
•
Plug the heater into the power socket after fully unwinding the power cord.
•
Switch on the radiator by setting the power selector switch to position I (800 W) or position
II (1200 W).
•
The power selector switches light up when the radiator is running.
•
To switch off the appliance, return both switches to their initial position: “0” and “MIN.”,
then disconnect it.
Setting the thermostat
•
The temperature can be adjusted by means of the thermostat.
•
Turn the thermostat thumbwheel to the maximum temperature.
•
Once the desired temperature has been reached, slowly turn the knob anticlockwise until
the heater switches off (you will hear a “click”).
•
The temperature will remain constant, regulated by the thermostat.
