Connecting the base transmitter to a sound source
Once you have chosen a location, you then need to plug one end of the supplied
3.5 mm jack cable
into
the
AUDIO IN input
, located on the back of the base transmitter.
You have a number of options, depending on the device you want to listen to with your headphones.
CONNECTING THE BASE TRANSMITTER TO THE HEADPHONE JACK ON YOUR
SOUND SOURCE
1. Plug one end of the supplied 3.5 mm jack cable
into the headphone jack on your television. The
headphone jack is located either on the front or
the side of the television. Please refer to your
device’s instruction manual to find it.
2. Plug the other end into the AUDIO IN input,
located on the back of the base transmitter.
Note:
in the majority of cases, this will turn off the
speakers on your television. Sound is then only
emitted from the headphones.
CONNECTING THE BASE TRANSMITTER TO THE RCA JACK ON YOUR SOUND
SOURCE
If your television has RCA audio outputs (2 outputs:
1 red, 1 white), you can also use a 2x RCA adapter
cable (not supplied).
1. Plug your 3.5 mm jack / RCA adapter into one
end of the 3.5 mm jack cable.
2. Plug the red and white RCA jacks on the adapter
into the red and white RDA jacks on your sound
source.
3. Plug the other end of the 3.5 mm jack cable into
the AUDIO IN input, located on the back of the
base transmitter.
