Re-circulated Air Installation
1. The cooker hood must be fitted so that it protrudes 140mm from the cupboard it is being fitted to. This is to
allow the re-circulated air to escape through the grille in the top of the unit.
2. Turn the valve lever upward to position R, as shown in the picture C. Meanwhile; use the air outlet cover to
cover the holes on top of cooker hood, as shown in picture D.
3. Use the card template supplied to mark the position of the fixing screws.
The keyhole slots are designed so the cooker hood locates over the larger area of the hole and is then pushed
back, onto the smaller area of the hole. Two extra ‘security screws’ are used to ensure the unit is secure and isn’t
accidentally pushed off the keyhole slots.
Screw the keyhole positioned screws into your wall or kitchen cupboard so that the top surface of the screw head
is approximately 4mm from the surface you are screwing to.
If you are top mounting the unit, drill a 130mm diameter and four 5mm diameter holes as per below picture or the
card template.
Use the 4 × 35mm screws; washers and M4 nuts to fix the cooker hood to a kitchen cupboard.
4. Check that your fixings are correctly located, by temporarily fitting the cooker hood. If correct, fit the unit into
position. Tighten the screws if necessary.
5. Fit the main filter cover by locating the rear pins in their slots, push the cover upward and push the release
buttons outward. It will click into place.
6. Replace the acrylic filter with carbon filter. (not supplied – please contact the store from which you
purchased your cooker hood) (Please refer to "Fitting and replacing the carbon filter" section for details in
Cleaning and Maintenance section).
7. Fit the main filter cover by locating the rear pins in their slots and pressing the release buttons. It will click
into place.
8. Connect the cooker hood to the power supply, as mentioned earlier in the guide.
