Screw in the two screws above the battery compartment at the top of the back cover.

If the PIR is part of a Care@Home™ kit:
a.
Move the PIR at least 2 m (~6 ft. 7 in.) from the CP.
b.
Shake the PIR gently. The rattling sound is the tamper-prevention mechanism.
c.
Insert the battery, observing the correct polarity.

When the battery is installed, the LED lights up red, indicating that the PIR has powered up
successfully.
