Use memory key
Pick up the handset.
Press the memory key (
M1
~
M15
).
Changing stored phone number or code
Follow the steps described in “Storing telephone numbers or codes into
memory key”.
The new phone number or code will automatically replace the previous one.
Putting a call on hold when connected to the
trunk line
When ST 201 is connected directly to the trunk line you have to press the
Hold
key in order to put a call on hold.
Press
Hold
key during conversation.
The outside line will still be retained just listening to music, so the other party
cannot hear your conversation. You may replace the handset.
If the handset is not replaced press
Hold
key, otherwise pick up it, to
go back to normal conversation.
Warning!
The call is cleared if you press the Hold key when
the call is on hold and the handset is replaced.
Putting a call on hold when connected to a PABX
When ST 201 is connected to a PABX, you have to press the
R
key in order to
put a call on hold.
Press the
R
key during conversation.
The call has now been put on hold and you can access all the PABX services.
Warning!
Do not use the HOLD key to put the call on hold.
The only function of the HOLD key is to turn off
the handset microphone momentarily (the external
user receives waiting music). However, the operator
cannot forward the call to another extension or
access the telephone switch services.
