4. Secure 600 x 50 x 100 mm (24 x 2 x 4 inches) above beam.
5. Screw eye bolt at the centre of the 600 x 50 x 100 mm (24 x 2 x 4 inches).
6. Unlock the rope at the tail of swing, take this end of rope, lead it through the 15 mm (0.6 inch)
hole in 600 x 50 x 100 mm (24 x 2 x 4 inches). Take up slack in rope. Hold up head and tail of tyre swing to
see how long rope needs to be, if the bottom of the tyre swing is where you want it to be, pull rope until
animal is approximately another 60 cm (24 inches) off the ground. The reason for this is that the rope will
stretch when there is weight on it. Take the rope across the board and loop it through the eye bolt and secure
it with a knot and U bolt. Continue across the board and down through the other 15 mm (0.6 inch) hole. Feed
the rope through the hole in the tale of the tire swing and fasten the end with a knot and U bolt. Make sure
tyre swing is at correct angle, then cut off any excess rope. WARNING! Ensure that swing frame is constructed
in the manner approved above. Otherwise your swing is unsafe.
