7.5.4 Customize the automatically generated Name
Double click on the newly added CPCI-DP-2S in the
Network view
.
The device name is displayed in the first line in the tab
Device overview
. See Figure 13.
Click on the field of the device name to edit it.
Enter the new name (CPCI-DP-2S_1 here) and press the the
Return
key to confirm the entry.

Now click with the right mouse button on the new device name to open the context menu as shown
in Figure 14.

Click onto
Online and Diagnostics
in the
context menu now.
As you see in Figure 15, the PROFIBUS address is shown in the
General
tab as part of the
Properties
tab now.
In the field
Parameters
the
Address
has to be set to the value of the node as defined in
DPSTART.node (see page 20).
