Using with live image on PC
bilux DIGITAL Inspection switches off automatically.
Never switch the device off and
never remove the SD card from the device during a software update.
Otherwise,
the mobilux DIGITAL Inspection could be irreparably damaged. This type of damage is
not covered by the guarantee!
Switching the automatic switch-off function on/off
As standard, the mobilux DIGITAL Inspection switches itself off after 5 minutes with-
out movements or other actions. This is intended to preserve the battery charge. Tap
the icon to deactivate automatic switch-off. The button icon changes to .
Setting the display brightness
Tap on this button to set the value for display brightness to , or .
The display for the brightness you have just set will be displayed inversely. Tap the
required button to change the display brightness.
Note: if the mobilux DIGITAL Inspection is connected to a PC the display brightness
will automatically be dimmed down to 75%.
Switching between right-hand and left-hand use
This function is only relevant for use with a PC.
If you tap this button, the monitor image on the PC will be rotated appropriately for
right-handed use ( ) and left-handed use ( ). The image is not rotated on the
testing device display.
Setting the confirmation signal
To select the required confirmation signal, tap the or icons. Tap on if you
prefer to have no acoustic confirmation of your input.
Setting the date and time
Select this function to set the time and date. Use the / buttons to increase or
decrease the parameters displayed in white. Tap the button to jump to the next
parameter. Tap on ‘24H’ to switch between 24-hour and 12-hour mode (commonly
used in English-speaking areas).
Use the button to return to the second level of device settings. Tap the button
to close the menu and to return to live image mode.
Using with live image on PC
If you connect the mobilux DIGITAL Inspection to a computer USB connection and
switch it on you will see the following 3 icons on the display:
