Zweckbestimmung
Die Universelle EM-Kopfstütze 40820500EU ist
bestimmt zur Befestigung des Feldgenerators
an OP-Tischen mit zentraler Vierkantaufnahme
(oder entsprechender Adapterlösung) mittels eines
kompatiblen Kopfplattenadapters. Sie dient als
Basis zur Lagerung des Kopfes eines Patienten vor,
während und nach der Durchführung eines Eingriffes in
Verbindung mit KARL STORZ elektromagnetischen
Navigationssystemen (40820001E).
Kontraindikationen
Die Kopfstütze darf nicht angewendet werden, wenn nach
Meinung eines verantwortlichen Arztes eine solche
Anwendung eine Gefährdung des Patienten hervorrufen
würde, z. B. aufgrund des Allgemeinzustandes des
Patienten.
Eigenmächtige Umbauten, Reparaturen oder
Veränderungen sind aus Sicherheitsgründen untersagt.

Die Kopfstütze darf maximal mit
Eignung der Produkte für den geplanten Eingriff zu
überprüfen.

Uso previsto
El reposacabezas electromagnético universal 40820500EU
está previsto para la fijación del generador de campo
a las mesas de operaciones con alojamiento central
cuadrado (o la solución de adaptación correspondiente)
mediante un adaptador compatible del tablero para la
cabeza. El reposacabezas sirve como base para posicio-nar
la cabeza del paciente antes, durante y después de una
intervención en combinación con sistemas de nave-gación
electromagnéticos de KARL STORZ (40820001E).
Contraindicaciones
El reposacabezas no ha de aplicarse cuando, según la
opinión del médico responsable, una utilización de este tipo
pudiese representar un peligro para el paciente,
p. ej., debido al estado general del paciente.
Por razones de seguridad, está prohibido efectuar
modificaciones, reparaciones o cambios arbitrarios en el
producto.

CUIDADO:
El reposacabezas soporta como
máximo el peso proporcional de un paciente de
180 kg.
Antes de su utilización, se recomienda comprobar
la idoneidad de los productos en cuanto a la
intervención planeada.

Intended use
The universal EM headrest 40820500EU is intended to
secure the field generator to OR tables with a central square
mount (or corresponding adaptor solution) using a
compatible head plate adaptor. It is used as a basis for
positioning the head of the patient before, during and after
an intervention in combination with KARL STORZ
electromagnetic navigation systems (40820001E).
Contraindications
The headrest must not be used if, in the opinion of
a responsible physician, the health of the patient is
endangered through such use, e.g., due to the general
condition of the patient.
Unauthorized conversions, repairs or modifications are not
permitted for safety reasons.

The headrest must only be
subjected to the proportionate load of a patient
weighing a maximum of 180 kg.
It is recommended to check the suitability of the
products for the intended procedure prior to use.
