5.1
The Computer - Your Helper
The ergometrics er900 for stress testing was designed so that the ergometric process
can be conducted
simply - quickly - exactly - safely.
In order to achieve this, the computer is an indispensable aid. The integrated and espe-
cially designed blood pressure module for the ergometric process, makes computer
monitoring of the patient and his blood pressure condition largely autonomous. The
schematics below demonstrate the versatility of the unit .
Operation
Manual Control at a
touch
(At a touch,it's possible to
use the 900 PC without an
ECG device. The load controll
can be done through 5 Watt
steps by using the +5W and
-5W keys. The NIBP can be
controlled through the two
corresponding keys)
Use of the Blood
Pressure Module
without Load
Control via RS232 from
the ECG device
All parameter will be defined
by the user at the PC or ECG
device. The PC or ECG de-
vice will control the complete
ergometric test and manipu-
lates the internal controller of
the ergometer.
With Circulation
Monitoring
(Blood pressure and heart rate
are determined and docu-
mented at a predeter-mined
time interval. Heart rate and
blood pressure are simulta-
neously monitored for alarm
limits and, if necessary, cause
an alarm and aborts the load
program.
Without Circulation
Monitoring
(Blood pressure module is off.
The circulation condition is not
monitored and exceeding
alarm limits does not cause an
alarm.)
