Placement of sling straps
Colour coded straps
The straps on most of the slings are marked with colours (red, yellow,
green, blue), which makes adjustment of position and placement of
the sling easier.
Corresponding sling straps must be attached to the spreader bar with
the same colour. The sitting position can be varied by choosing
different colours for the leg and shoulder straps.
Patented Ergolet sling hook system
Ergolet does not take any responsibility if the sling is placed incorrectly. It
is always the carer’s responsibility that the correct sling has been chosen
and the sling is fitted correctly.

The sling strap is placed on the open hook (1).

The strap is pulled downwards and the hook will close (2).
The design of the lifting hook is such that the weight of the user will help
close the hook.
To release the strap after lifting simply pull upwards to open the hook.
Note: Ensure that client’s fingers cannot get trapped.
Other hooks
The fig A below shows placement of the strap on hooks of Pallas/150 stand aid.
The fig B illustrates placement of the straps on the hooks of Melas/150 mobile lift. The picture shows one
leg strap and one shoulder strap. The other leg strap and shoulder strap should be placed on the other side
of the spreader bar on the corresponding hook.
