11.5 Power Management Setup
You will be greeted by this screen when you enter the Power Management Setup
Menu:

CPU Auto Doze Mode Disabled
Suspend Mode DRAM

Hard Disk Time Out Auto

Resume On Modem Ring Enabled

Power Switch Type:
There are two options to this field, On/Off and Suspend . This field is for programming
the Power Switch . If this field is set to On/Off , the Power Switch would behave in a
normal On/Off function. If this field is set to Suspend , there are three scenarios.
•
If the Power Switch is pressed continuously for 4 seconds or more, the system
would power off.
•
If the Power Switch is pressed for less than 4 seconds and the Suspend Mode is
set to DRAM , system would perform Suspend-To-DRAM .
•
If the Power Switch is pressed for less than 4 seconds and the Suspend Mode is
set to DISK , system would perform Suspend-To-Disk .

detail on Suspend Mode , refer to the Suspend Mode field that follows this
