Throttle Lever
Set the throttle lever for starting the engine to full throttle
position and additionally close the starter flap on the
engine at cold start (CHOKE).
The best suction power can only be achieved with maxi-
mum speed, therefore the throttle lever should be set to
full throttle position during operation.
Clutch Lever
Use the clutch lever to engage the drive of the machine.
To do this, press the lever on the guide rail to move off.
When you release the lever, the leaf and waste vacuum
cleaner stops.
Gear Shift
The driving speed is controlled exclusively by the 6-speed
transmission.
Attention:
Never block the clutch lever in any way.
Risk of injury.
Adjusting Spindle for Suction Trunk
The adjustment spindle for the infinitely variable height
adjustment of the suction trunk is located on the left
side of the unit.
Turn the spindle counter-clockwise to lower the suction
trunk. A suction trunk height of 7.5 cm is generally con-
sidered ideal for dry suction material. Place the suction
trunk lower in the appropriate position with wet or even
wet and rotten material. The lowest setting is reached
when the rubber apron reaches the floor. It is not advis
-
able to make a lower setting, as it does not improve the
suction power and can damage the suction trunk.
Too high setting reduces suction power.
Important:
Adjust the suction trunk as high as possible. Too low
a setting can cause damage to the suction trunk and
does not improve suction performance.
Important Information:
The driving speed must not be controlled by
the clutch lever. If the clutch lever is not pulled
through to the handle. the drive belt grinds
and therefore wears out very quickly.
Gear Shift
The manual transmission offers a choice of 6 forward
and one reverse gears. Usually, suction is done in 3rd
or 4th gear. Slower speeds are recommended for difficult
work or terrain.
Engage the desired gear and press the clutch lever to
start driving.
Important:
Never operate the gear shift without clutch.
Release the clutch lever to change gear.
To prevent reverse gear from being engaged suddenly
at full throttle, this is only possible when the throttle
lever is in the idle position.
