4.4 Conducting a performance test
Before every use conduct a performance test.
4.5 Footswitch pedals and their function
Light gray pedal:
• The light gray pedal activates the applicator's water jet.
• If "Pedal" suction mode has been selected on the ERBEJET 2,
use of the light gray pedal activates both the water jet and
the applicator's suction function.
Dark gray pedal (two-pedal footswitch 20150-100 only):
• The dark gray pedal activates the applicator’s suction function.
Black ReMode button:
• In programs with two setting options a and b the black Re-
Mode button allows you to toggle back and forth between
the two options.

Cleaning and disinfection
5.1 Safety instructions
Do not exceed a temperature of max. 75 °C!
Erbe recommends wiping or spray disinfection with an appropri-
ate disinfectant. Comply with the disinfectant manufacturer's
stipulations as to its suitability and concentration.
Do not sterilize!
5.2 Manual cleaning and disinfection
Rinse the product with water immediately after use and wash it
with an alkaline cleaning solution.
