Control of the generators
Once the configuration is saved, you may access the ‘Status’ tab to view the status of the sources
and control them.
Here is a brief examination of the status page content:
The announcements generator ‘Announcements 1’ is currently waiting to send the second
announcement, and the date is when this announcement will be played. We could force the
emission by pressing
Send now
, or
Stop
the generator if we desire so. In addition to that, it is
possible to advance to the
Next
announcement or move back to the
Previous
one.
The scheduled generators ‘From Monday to Friday’ and ‘Everyday’ are waiting for the next condition
to become active, and the moment is June 10
th
,2015 at 12.30. This illustrates what happens if we set
the same conditions for generators sharing a destination, the audio would be sent at the same time
and, as a result, the audio received at the decoders would not be correct. This problem can be fixed
setting different conditions for the second generators, for instance being active at 11.15 pm, 12.15
pm and 1.15 am.
The BGM - Icecast generator is sending the fourth file, but has no clients. Once a decoder is turned
on and playing this generator, the clients number number would increase.
The BGM – RTP generator is sending a file, we can advance to the
Next
announcement or move
back to the
Previous
one if we desire so.
