B. Quick jump start your car
For this method, your Kraftprotz will be used directly to start your car.
Please adhere to the following steps:
Preparing your car
1. First check the battery status by a short press on the status
button . At least three status LEDs should be lit. If this is
not the case, you should use method „A. Refresh“ instead.
2. Turn o
ff your ignition, remove the key and be sure to turn o ff any
systems drawing power in your car (lights, heat, navigation, radio)
Continue under the hood
3. Attach the red jumper cable (+)
to the red positive pole of
your car’s battery or connect it to the jump start socket.
4. Attach the black jumper cable (
–
) to the black negative pole
of your car’s battery or connect it to the jump start socket.
5. Plug in the Jumper cable plug
into your Kraftprotz . Once
you plug it in, charging will begin automatically.
Now it’s time to start!
6. Start your car. Make sure to leave the starter on fi rst for a couple
of seconds. If the motor does not start after three tries, please see
“Help”.
Did your motor start? Remove your Kraftprotz from the battery.
7. First remove the black jumper cable (–)
and then the red
jumper cable (+) from the car battery.
8. Detach the tizi jumper cable
from your Kraftprotz.
