To reboot, click the
Reboot
button. If the IP address had not been previously set (or
the hub has been reinitialized), the ESP-2 hub reboots automatically.
4.5 Displaying or Changing Port Attributes and Connection Methods
The Port 1 Configuration display includes the serial port attributes and connection
methods for port 1. The Port 2 Configuration display includes the serial port attributes
and connection methods for port 2. For more information about connection methods,
see
Serial Port Connection Methods and Attributes
To display or change port attributes or connection methods:
1. From the Main Menu, select
Port 1 Configuration
or
Port 2 Configuration
.
2. To display or change the serial port attributes:
a.
Enable the
Serial Attributes
radio button.
b. Click the
Apply
button. The current values are displayed.
c.
To change any of the fields, select a value from the appropriate listbox. See
Table 12 on page 14 for valid and default values.
d. If you changed any values, click the
Apply
button. The change will take
effect during the next connection to that port.
3. To display or change the connection methods:
a.
Enable the
Serial Connection Methods
radio button.
b. Click the
Apply
button. On the display, radio buttons indicate if a connection
method is enabled or disabled. Text boxes contain current values for
applicable features.
c.
To change a field, click the appropriate radio button, enter a valid value or
choose from a listbox. Table 13 indicates where to find more information.
d. If you changed any values, click the
Apply
button. You will be prompted to
confirm. When confirmed, the EEPROM configuration is updated immedi-
ately. The change will take effect during the next connection to that port.
