Using the printer buttons

Follow the steps below to clean the print head using the printer buttons.

A

Make sure that no lights are indicating errors.

Press the 

B

 button or

 button.

Select either of the buttons according to the result of the nozzle check.

The printer starts cleaning the print head and the

 light begins flashing.

Caution:

Never turn off the printer while the

 light is flashing. Doing so may damage the printer.

 light stops flashing, print a nozzle check pattern to confirm that the head is clean.
