Choosing a location
When choosing a location for the printer, use a surface that is
flat, horizontal, and stable.
Avoid locations subject to rapid changes in temperature and
humidity. Also keep the printer away from direct sunlight,
heat sources, and sources of electromagnetic interference, such
as the base units of cordless telephones.
Always leave adequate space around the printer to
accommodate its cables. Also make sure nothing is touching
the knob on the right side of the printer.
Unpacking the Printer
In addition to this manual, your printer box should include two
EPSON printer driver diskettes, a
Reference Guide,
a
Setup and
Software Guide for Windows,
a package of EPSON special coated
paper for 360 and 720 dpi printing, a Notice Sheet, and these
items:
black ink
color ink
cartridge
