To achieve total photographic scanning flexibility, the STYLUS
PHOTO RX510 features a built in transparency unit supporting
scanning of up to six negatives (one strip film) or four slides
simultaneously. This allows you to quickly and easily digitise
your negatives and slides for printing or storage on CD.
Standalone Control Panel
With a minimum number of buttons and an LCD panel, the
STYLUS PHOTO RX510 control panel provides you with colour
copier flexibility that rivals that of many dedicated A4 photocopiers.
PC Based Photocopying
For PC based photocopying, the STYLUS PHOTO RX510
software bundle has the feature-rich EPSON Copy Centre,
with reduction / enlargement tools, and controls for brightness,
contrast and number of copies. In fact, Copy Centre has more
features than many dedicated photocopiers found in today’s
typical offices.
Versatile Copy Modes
With the photocopier functions of the STYLUS PHOTO RX510, you
can select from a variety of copy modes:
Repeat
Copy
– An original can be copied multiple times on a
single sheet of paper. Repeat, auto, 4, 9 and 16 copy settings are
available. This is ideal for making your own business cards.
Poster
Copy
– The original print can be scanned and split into
4, 9 or 16 sections. Each section is then printed on an A4 sheet
and pasted together to form a poster version of the original.
2-up / 4-up Copy
– 2 or 4 originals can be reduced to fit onto
one A4 page. This makes it easy to copy magazine spreads.
Mirror
Copy
– Mirror copy reverses the original print, allowing
you to make prints that are suitable for iron-on-transfer paper.
EPSON Photo Restoration
Adding to the total scanning experience are two new EPSON Scan
tools – Colour Restoration and Dust Removal – designed specifically
for high quality photo and film scanning. Colour Restoration employs
sophisticated technology to substantially restore image colour that
has been subjected to fading and other colour loss influences, such
as light and airborne contaminants. With Dust Removal, EPSON
Scan can automatically detect dust on film or negatives, making the
necessary adjustments to minimise its appearance.
