Paper Jam Problems

In the paper cassette

1. Remove the paper cassette from the printer.

Note: You cannot pull out the paper cassette if the front cover

is open.

Remove any folded or curled paper from the front opening. If

the paper tears, make sure you remove any pieces remaining in

the printer.

Remove any sheets that have been fed part way into the

printer, and remove all the sheets from the cassette. Discard

any curled or wrinkled sheets.

Make sure you are using the correct paper size.

Tap the edges of the paper stack on a flat surface and reload

it into the paper cassette. Reinstall the paper cassette in the

printer.

After a FEED JAM is cleared, the jammed page is

automatically reprinted.
